Bakaliko

The term "Bakaliko" derived from the turkish language and later used in the greek language means a small store, with products especially edible ones. In a "Bakaliko" one can find a few tables in which someone can taste its specialities which are cooked solely by the owner and his family. On these grounds BAKAλIKO was established in Graz. A small kitchen basically equipped, a few employees, products from small producers, pure ingredients without preservatives and named origin. There are no linen tablecloths and velvet sofas, waiters with stylish attire and decorative plates with flowers in bloom. The menu doesn't remind one of the enormous menus which one can find in restaurants, it follows the Mediterrean culture of "Meze”. Apart of this no one leaves BAKAλIKO hungry and one has the opportunity to taste original, homemade recipes with cheeses from goat milk, fresh yogurt from Central Greece, thyme honey from Crete, extra virgin olive oil from Lesvos and Fleur de Sel from Messologi.
