Around 13 miles away from Italy, 12 miles from East Tyrol and 18 miles from South Tyrol, the hotel Gasthof Gailberghohe is situated in beautiful Carinthia. Only one glance into the spacious rooms will assure you that you have chosen your holiday home well. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom (bathtub, shower, lavatory) and they are all equipped with natural wooden furniture, telephone and Sat TV. After a good night's sleep you will enjoy the breakfast buffet either on the sunny outdoor terrace or on our comfortable breakfast room, offering a magnificent view. Our restaurant also offers a large variety of local delicacies. Our menu is complimented by a selected choice of wines from our wine cellar. Whilst you are enjoying the last rays of sunshine on our outdoor terrace, children are always certain to find something fun to do in our exciting adventure playground. During winter time you will have loads of fun sledging on the night-lit sled way. You can then use the drying room to store your skiwear. To conclude the evening, you can relax in our parlour at the crackling fire place. There you will enjoy homely warmth whilst having a cup of tea. Should you have any special requests, we will always give our best to fulfil your wishes. You are sure to enjoy your holiday being the guest of the Buzzi family. The location of our hotel is also ideal to doing all sorts of outdoor sports such as hiking, mountain biking, jogging, climbing and motorcycling. The Aquarena Kotschach-Mauthen swimming pool and spa resort, with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, is just a ten minute drive from our hotel. You can also get to the family ski resort Kotschach-Mauthen within ten minutes by car. If you stay longer than 3 nights in the off-peak season, children under 10 years ski for free. Motorcyclists will appreciate our drying room. You can also carry out small repairs on your motorcycle and there is a hydraulic lift available. We are happy to advice you on motorbike trips, with collection services being provided.
