The Schmiedhofalm is situated in the skiing area Zell am See- Kaprun. This area consists of the glacier Kitzsteinhorn, the Maiskogel and the Schmittenhöhe. Our skiing hut is situated at the sunny side, the Sonnenalm, a picturesque place for skiing.The fastest way to get to our hut is with the Sonnenalmbahn#8 and with the Hochmaisbahn#22, a heated chairlift with bubbles. Of course you can reach us also with the new Porsche design cable car – the Schmittenhöhebahn.Relax at our sun terrace in summer and enjoy the picturesqueview to the Großglockner, the Kitzsteinhorn, the Steinerne Meer and much more.For your children we offer a playground where they can play at the healthy air of the mountain. We offer you our house made specialities, if spicy or sweet; everybody will find something for him.
