About
The Bäckelar Brewery in the commercial area of Sölden is Sölden's first private brewery and was opened in autumn 2020. The trained brewer Florian Schmisl and hotelier Simon Gstrein have put a long-cherished vision into practice with the construction of the independent brewery. The Bäckelar Brewery is best known for its main product sölsch - THE beer from the Ötztal in the unmistakable black aluminum bottle. The top-fermented and unfiltered beer is now available in many local restaurants - sometimes on tap. The premises of the modern brewery can be visited during the weekly ramp sale or an exclusive tour and are also available for celebrations, seminars, company outings or other events.
