Madeleine in Bruges is an extraordinary church searching for contemporary forms of meaning and spirituality. This neogothic church from the mid-19th century (one of the first of its kind) is more than just a religious building. Madeleine aims to be a piece of heaven on earth, where everyone is welcome, regardless of gender, color, or faith... That's why we have chosen the slogan 'A little piece of heaven.' Since July 2023, the Magdalene Church has a new logo, a new portal, and audio guides (in Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish, and even in the Bruges dialect) for a 25-minute spiritual journey. More than ever, it's an inspiring place to recharge. Madeleine in Bruges is an interactive church, where visitors are taken on a new journey with interactive installations, a 17-meter-long swing, a coffee bar, quirky art installations, challenging questions, and wordplay."
