About

At Bel Mundo, delicious and healthy food goes hand in hand with sustainable development. The organically grown vegetables that we serve are harvested in the morning in our 1500m2 vegetable garden behind the restaurant. We choose as much as possible for local producers and strive for zero food waste. The people who stir in the pots and serve the room follow a course in catering at Atelier Groot Eiland. This non-profit organization wants to help the most vulnerable people in Brussels find a meaningful job with a view to social integration. The warm, Scandinavian interior, made of recycledd wood, is also a realization of our own joinery where candidates learn a craft in order to flow through to the labor market.
