The Lindemans family has been brewing traditional lambic since 1822. Even longer ago, we actually started brewing lambic to help our farmers work during the winter period. And to quench their thirst, of course. Lambic is the oldest type of beer known to man, brewed in a very specific way. While Lambic is the only beer we brew, the traditional old way from days long passed, we later turn it into delicious other beers, like our Gueuzes, Kriek, Faro and our Botanical Gueuzes. The latter is the result of blending tradition with innovation and experimenting. We never do things like the other breweries. Because we are not like the others. Is it because of where we live, that is so much unlike any other place? The obvious Southwest winds? Is their something mysterious in the air? Or because the nearby Zenne river makes people go crazy?
