On the edge of Boynovtsi village, Gabrovo, Bulgaria, in a beautiful river valley, surrounded by nature, Little River Guest House is the perfect year-round, rural location for holidays, getaways, celebrations and relaxation. Little River Guest House is close to many places of interest including: Lyulyatsite national park, and Bulgarka Nature Park, Etara, Sokolski and Dryanovo Monasteries, Shipka, Buzludzha, and the towns of Gabrovo, Tryavna, Dryanovo and Veliko Tarnovo. Uzanna ski resort is 15km away, making us the perfect location for a mixed activity winter getaway. There are five guest rooms, each with their own bathrooms. In the old farm house we have a romantic double room with luxury en-suite bathroom and fire place (decorative). A large double en-suite room with a beautiful view of the garden and a twin room with its own separate bathroom and view of the cobbled courtyard and hills; which together make a perfect family suite. In the Gatehouse across the courtyard we have two en-suite rooms, one double and one twin. Both rooms have dual aspect and lovely views of the meadow and mountain. Again, ideal for a family or perfect for a group of friends. All room rates include breakfast. Start with coffee, fruit juice, granola, fruit compote, and yoghurt, while choosing from a menu of freshly prepared dishes (see dining tab). Lunches are provided on request. We also serve evening meals. These are a set menu with influences from the Balkans, Caucasus, North Africa and the Middle East. Dinner always starts with a salad, then a small selection of complementary dishes, followed by dessert (see dining tab for sample menus). Our large landscaped garden is a work in progress, and already has lots of areas with views to the countryside beyond. These include a wood fired hot tub, a covered terrace, fire pit, woodland walk and secret seating areas.
