The story begins in 1991. Damascena was established as the first private rose oil distillery in Bulgaria, and the love for the Bulgarian rose and traditions continues to this day. Damascena Complex is a place for friends and connoisseurs.If you want to feel the captivating scent of the Bulgarian rose in all its beauty visit us from mid-May to mid-June. This is where the rose festival begins early in the morning with the Rose Rose ritual, under the sounds of traditional live music. However, at any time of the year you will visit us, you will enjoy warm hospitality. During the guided tour you will have the opportunity to follow closely the technology of distillation of rose oil and to learn interesting facts about the history of the oil rose. Learn about the rich culture of our ancestors by visiting our Thracian Cultural Center.
