And the story started like this... In 1931, Barba Giorgis, a devotee refugee from Pontus, set up a small coffee shop in Akritochori. A few years later, his granddaughter Tasoula, full of enthusiasm and love for work, gives a new life and turns the old coffee shop into a Tavern. Today, in the same place, which is full of memories and maintains the same warm and welcoming atmosphere, a third generation - Eleni and Kostas - under the watchful eye of Mrs. Tasoula, continue to make new delicious dishes with pure local products. At Barba Giorgis Tavern, the knowledge and love for greek traditional cuisine and good food is passed down from generation to generation, creating unique taste pleasures!
