About
Babina Kasta is located in Jeravna, an 18th century architectural preserve. The house offers a spectacular view of the Balkan Mountain Range and the 300-house village nestled below it. We encourage you to leave gadgets behind and use the opportunity to experience the authenticity of a place where time seems to have stopped. The house is newly built by local builders, keeping alive an age-old tradition. Minimalist-style rustic furnishing, cotton bedspreads, traditional Bulgarian floor throws of goat hair and sheep wool, wood burning fireplaces, discreet lighting, and judiciously selected art throughout the house, create a sophisticated yet simple atmosphere. The house has 3 bedrooms, all with a full bed sleeping two and with a private bath, a second-floor large sitting room with a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with wood-burning fireplace, and a large terrace on the second floor offering a magnificent view of the Balkan Range.
