The Kabal peninsula protects the bay of Stari Grad town. At the entrance of the peninsula there is an 80 m high rock, the Kabal cape, and at the end of the bay is Stari Grad town. Thanks to the peninsula, Stari Grad is naturally one of the safest harbors of the Adriatic sea.
