About
St. John's Fortress was built during in only 58 days, as the main point of the defense before the great attack of the Ottoman army. The people of Šibenik built the fortress with their own hands and resources! In the warm months, St. John's Fortress is a place where you can have a coffee or a drink with a view of the city and the wider surroundings, or take a walk along the promenade under which a modernly equipped educational camp is located. This is the where the future of the fortress begins, as a meeting spot for tudent groups, young experts and artists who are coming to Šibenik for study visits or other educational purposes.
