Močvara, the alternative face of Zagreb. More than a club! Located in a former socialist factory on the bank of the river Sava, the meeting point between the old and the new part of Zagreb, its location defines the essence of what Močvara is all about. Somebody might describe Močvara as a music venue, but we like to think of ourselves as a cultural center open to all artforms. That is why our diverse program features concerts by both globally acclaimed indie bands such as The Residents and local bands , disco nights with genres varying from trap to 80’s disco music, art exhibits, plays, literary and film programs, and workshops organized in cooperation with NGOs, local schools and various cultural organisations. Over the years, the club has become a kind of haven of alternative culture in which people of all generations and any subculture can come together and enjoy themselves in a safe and inclusive environment. And the drinks are cheap too!
