Fig Tree Bay is a picturesque sandy beach in Protaras, Paralimni, Cyprus, renowned for its crystal‑clear waters and the scenic Fig Trees that give it its name. As with all Cypriot beaches, access is free to the public, while the beach offers rentable sunbeds and umbrellas for a charge. The beach stretches approximately 500 metres, enjoys a Blue‑Flag designation for its clean waters, and features a small uninhabited islet off the shore that is easily reached by swimming. The area is popular with families and water‑sport enthusiasts, offering activities such as water‑skiing, windsurfing and parasailing. Lifeguards are on duty from 9 am to 6 pm during the peak season (April to October). The surrounding town of Protaras hosts a range of restaurants, shops and nightlife, making Fig Tree Bay a favourite spot for both daytime relaxation and evening strolls.|
