In a beautiful scenery right in front of the picturesque Ayia Napa's Fish Harbour, a local fisherman named Vassos was inspired to create his Taverna back in 1962. At the beginning it was a coffee shop for the few local fishermen operating in the harbour. Some years later the coffee shop was transformed to a small local Fish Taverna that became the purlieu for Cypriots fish lovers especially during weekends aiming to enjoy the fresh fish caught by Vassos and was cooked traditionally by his wife Zympoullou! Today, Vassos Fish Harbour has grown to one of the biggest Fish Tavern in Cyprus accommodating 400 people at any time but remained a Fish Tavern that only servers exclusively local Cypriot fresh fish. That is the reason why it became the top hot spot for Locals and Tourists that love real fresh fish and other delicious meals always traditionally prepared. Vassos Fish Harbour restaurant is open for 365 days from 11 a.m till Midnight.
