Ekfraseis Winery was established in 2013 at Chandria. It was the inspiration of Christos Vassiliades, a restless, trained winemaker who makes sure to leave his personal touch on all stages of the winemaking process. It is a modern winery located in the center of the second-highest mountain community of Cyprus, the village of Chandria, on the foot of Madari, at an altitude of 4000 feet. Possibly is the Winery that is situated at the highest altitude in Europe. It features all necessary processing areas, storing and aging, shaped based on the particularities of mountainous vineyards. The production of unique world-class wines is where the winery aims its constant efforts. At Ekfraseis winery, we feature a winter and summer tasting room, where guests can try the wines, converse with the people behind the production, enjoy ultimate wine and food pairings and learn the secrets of the winery and the estate.
