This restaurant is located on the front of the harbour in Kyrenia in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. One of many restaurants in this location all boasting similar style mealsexcept this one offers it at 25 turkish lira as opposed to the others who go for 30 - 35 turkish lira. The front of house man trying to lure customers in offers incentives such as half priced bottles of wine if just two dining or free drinks for groups of 4 or more. The offer is tempting however the food provided reflects the price you pay. The meze offered is sub standard by comparison to others we had in the other nearby restaurants with without doubt a substandard array of dishes for any no Turkish visitor. The meze is followed by a main course which again was substandard. The final insult was when the bill arrived with the price of the bottle of wine being 20 TL (remember the deal was 50% off) I almost fell over. When questioned the waiter said "yes, it was actually 17 TL but I rounded it up!" I would like to warn fellow TA travellers about this restaurant and advise them to try others in the area, Corners in particular and Martis. Don't get ripped off like we did.
