Lying on the beach of the Village of Kissonerga, we are situated just six kilometers from Paphos Town and three from Coral Bay. The name Vardas comes from the family name of the land owners, who passed it down from generation to generation until it came to Maria Vardas who decided to make good use of it. Vardas, a unique Paphos beach restaurant first opened its doors in 1997. What first started as a small snack bar housed in a simple, octagonal wooden kiosk, now only exists in its reflection in the current business logo. It is this logo that lies at the very heart of Vardas Beach, there to remind us of the humble beginnings when we decided that quality of service and cuisine would never be sacrificed for profit. Whether it’s a three course meal, a simple snack or even just a drink you are looking for, Vardas Restaurant suits the bill. With three different dining / lounging areas to choose from, you are certainly welcome to choose according to your taste.
