Zamecek Memorial

Zámeček Memorial is located in Pardubice on the commemorative place of the former Nazi execution ground. 194 people were murdered here after a lethal attack on the Deputy Reich Protector and SS general Reinhard Heydrich. Today's mission is still to commemorate the memory of those executed and contribute to museum and educational activities for awareness of the dark history of the Nazi occupation. The exhibition focusing on the time of the Second World War combines authentic objects with multimedia content. In addition to the testimonies of memorabilia, diaries and personal stories, it is possible to get acquainted with unique documents from foreign archives. Thematically, it extends beyond the postwar period. There is also a guided tour. There are lectures, exhibitions and other events for the public.
