Our family pension is located in the Ore Mountains in the village of Smolná Pec surrounded by beautiful forests. The village of Smolné Pece is situated in the middle of unspoilt nature on a large clearing on the northern slope of Hamerský vrch at an altitude of 518 meters, only less than 11 km northwest of Karlovy Vary and 4.5 km southeast of Nejdek. The surroundings of Smolné Pec are ideal for hiking and cycling in summer. In winter you will find ski lifts and cross-country ski trails not far from us. Nearby are ski resorts in Nové Hamry, Pernink, Abertamy and Boží Dar. Penzion Lumis is the right place for the families & friends that would love to spend quality time outside the busy cities. We are surrounded by wild nature and fresh air that is very precious and needed after being locked down during the pandemic that affected us all. We recommend a long walk through the forest or maybe you would rather borrow a hammock and hang it close by our penzión and enjoy the sound of nature in it's best. Beware: the forest is alive and you can spot falcon, woodpecker, squirrel, deer and even a wild boar that are iconic for this region. We offer comfortable accommodation at the hotel level in a quiet environment. We have 10 rooms available. Rooms are spacious 2-4 beds with extra beds. Some rooms have a private balcony. Each room has its own bathroom (toilet and shower), WiFi. Possibility of accommodation with dogs. We also have a social hall suitable for family celebrations, weddings or corporate events. Free parking in front of the house. In Penzion Lumis you will find a bar where you can enjoy cold and hot beverages, most famous czech beer, milkshakes and cocktails. We are working on our kitchen and believe that you will love to have traditional and world dishes in our restaurant. In the garden we have a playground for kids, fire pits and for our guests are available small transportable BBQ that can be used in our garden.
