Almandine Boutique Apartments is a newly refurbished, charming family-run accommodation in the heart of Prague. Almandine Boutique Apartments are conveniently located in a side street in the very heart of the historic city centre, just a few steps away from Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square, plus all of the amenities the city has to offer. The building was built as a two-storey house in the first half of the 13th century as a part of the so-called Havel Town. The present-day appearance of the house dates back to 1839 when another storey and a classic facade were added by architect J.J. Frenzl, creating a three-story building split into three living units. The building contains elements of a number of architectural styles including Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism, while remnants of the mediaeval fortification of Prague were found in the rear wing of the house.
