Chocotopia: Museum of Chocolate
About
The Choco‑Story Museum in Prague is a chocolate lover’s utopia located just a two‑minute walk from the Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. Since 2008, it has offered visitors a taste of cocoa’s rich history—from Aztec rituals to modern Belgian pralines—through immersive exhibits, live workshops and a delightful tasting station that serves up to five different chocolate varieties free of charge. The museum’s interactive displays let guests explore the journey of cocoa beans, the science of chocolate production, and the cultural impact of this sweet treasure. In addition to a guided 30‑minute tour, visitors can watch chocolatiers craft pralines on the spot and even participate in a short workshop (reservations required). With its bright, engaging layout and close proximity to Prague’s historic center, the museum promises a sweet, educational adventure for families, couples, students, and chocolate enthusiasts alike.
