U Kurelu is an iconic Zizkov neighborhood pub that has been pouring world-famous Czech beer for over 110 years. In 2014 husband and wife team Dean and Lori took over the historic venue, refurbished the space, updated the food & drinks menu, and re-opened the bar with a rotating six-tap selection of Czech craft brews and an enticing list of original cocktails & house-infused spirits. Our food menu offers many signature, much-loved burgers created in our first restaurant, The Tavern: mouth-watering, sizzling fresh-grilled diner-style 100% chuck burgers dripping with cheese and homemade sauces. You can also choose from our our award-winning BBQ house-smoked pulled pork* or crispy buttermilk-brined Southern fried chicken sandwiches, loaded nachos, quesadillas, fresh salads and homemade desserts.
