About

Five generations of wine production in today's 13-hectare vineyard in Prechtl Zeller village. After completion of the viticultural school in Klosterneuburg and agricultural studies at the University of Agricultural Sciences Franz Prechtl in 1993 adopted the traditional mode of his parents and since then, together with his wife Petra, their character wine academic, a recognized winery specializing made the winery Gruner Veltliner. Their various wine district DAC feature varietal flavors and finesse, the white to emphasize the different layers and soil conditions in accordance with the winemakers. The wines from Weingut Prechtl are regularly represented in the Salon of Austrian wine.
