About
Mark communicates the modern cultural history of agriculture, industry, and tourism in Billund Municipality through new interactive ways of experiencing. During the school holidays, you can go treasure hunting and play old games. On certain days the museum's volunteers facilitate horse-drawn carriage rides, workshops for children in the old smithy and the old wood-burning stove in the kitchen. The living museum farm Karensminde is surrounded by beautiful nature in between the meadow and the moors, where you see the traces of conditions, development, way of life and consequences of the last 400 years of Danish history.
