Beautiful surroundings, great machines, Northern Europe’s oldest wheel and other unique archaeological finds – Klosterlund Museum has it all. At Klosterlund Museum you can experience the machines of the peat industry and original archaeological finds from settlements of Stone Age hunter-gatherers. We tell the story of how people have lived in the area for thousands of years, and especially how they have utilized the peat bogs over the years. There is also plenty of space to play freely at our large natural playground with a view of the forest and the lake Bølling Sø.
