Enigma - Museum Of Communication
About
ENIGMA is the museum of communication. A modern museum that makes history contemporary with exhibitions, a children's area and a workshop. At ENIGMA you can explore two different exhibition areas that together depict the history of Danish communication and media from the establishment of the postal service in 1624, through mass communication in sounds and images and to the digital realities of our time. Discover the great ideas of communication history and learn about eavesdropping, surveillance and false truths and how communication technologies threaten us as a society and as individuals - both past and present. You can read, listen, play, learn, try, and understand at ENIGMA. In the children's area, you can slide and crawl through the world of smartphones and in ENIGMA’s basement you can relive or discover the gaming revolution. Here we have created a historical exhibition about digital games but also an active arcade hall with the gaming technology of the past.
