About

Kajakhotellet was founded in 2005 by passionate kayak enthusiasts Anders Nielsen and Peter Bondesen. It all started with a shared love of kayaking and the desire to create a unique place where both beginners and experienced paddlers could share experiences, and create a community with sea kayaking as the focal point. Since then, our “small” kayaking place has developed together with customers and not least our members, and has grown into so much more! Today, Kajakhotellet is probably Denmark’s largest water sports center with sea kayaking, surfski, stand up paddleboard (SUP) and kite surfing. Complete with courses, club, shop, café, yoga, sauna, large selection, good service, good coffee, events and storage of kayaks and SUP at our 2 locations in Amager Strandpark and Kalvebod Bølge.
