Mellemrummet

About

Café Mellemrummet is a sustainable and volunteer-run café in the heart of Nørrebro. We do everything we can to minimize our climate footprint, and our proceeds go to the NGO ActionAid Denmark, which makes yearly donations to a support project that the café volunteers have chosen. The projects promote a more just and sustainable world, and this period the café supports Youth Hubs for Women's Rights in Nepal. Open hearts and open minds: Diversity and creativity are the key concepts of Mellemrummet. Volunteers from around the world serve fair trade coffee, organic lemonade, local beer and organic baked goods. During the day, we are visited by students, guests from our hostel and coffee lovers, while in the evening the café transforms into a bar. We host frequent events at Café Mellemrummet. These include everything from concerts and film screenings to poetry slams and political debates.
