James J. Murphy started to build his brewery business in 1856 in the Irish village of Cork. Since creation of the brand, Murphy's beer has gained wide international recognition such as being awarded Gold Medal at Monde Selection in Bruxelles in 2005. After more than 150 years as one of the leading beer brands in Europe, Murphy's can also be found as a pub concept in Copenhagen Airport.
