The Old Grocer's Shop serves as a living museum. The shop is kept in the 1950s style, which means that there are no shopping trolleys or self-service, but kind and welcoming shop assistants ready to help and serve customers according to the old principles of good customer service. New goods on sale therefore include freshly ground coffee, tea, honey, wicker baskets, old-fashioned boiled sweets, brown soap, soap flakes, tins, oil lamps, ceramics, wooden utensils, pearl barley, Christmas decorations and much more. Children will be delighted to find a variety of products, including old-fashioned toys, skipping ropes, cars, various games, teddy bears, colouring pencils, jigsaw puzzles, cut-out dolls, books, vintage die-cuts, lollipops, liquorice and boiled sweets.
