As soon as you gaze over the landscape at Hvolris Iron Age and step into the Iron Age village, your shoulders relax. You enter another era and experience an entirely different pace. Surrounded by forest and hills, Hvolris Iron Age Village overlooks the Skals River Valley. Here, our ancestors have lived since the Stone Age - approximately 6000 years ago until now. During the summer, you can experience live interpretation, try your hand at archery, work in the forge, cook over an open fire, and immerse yourself in the Iron Age activities with all your senses.
