Kaariku Leisure and Sports Center has been Estonia's most popular sporting and resting places through the years. It was established in 1947 as a study and training center of the Faculty of Exercise and Sports Sciences of the University of Tartu. Kaariku Leisure and Sports Center was a place where students of university spent time training and having camps, as well athletes from surrounding countries trained at Kaariku. At the same time Kaariku has always been a place for everybody interested in spending time in a healthy and sportive environment. Today Kaariku Leisure and Sports Center is a constantly developing and progressing complex with a hotel, holiday homes, sporting facilities (sports hall, track and field stadium, courts for ball games, an open-air swimming pool), with conference and catering center, with saunas by the lake, with a skiing stadium and hiking and skiing tracks. Kaariku Leisure and Sports Center offers a great and comfortable opportunities to hold conferences and seminars and effective training and sports camps, also it's an excellent place for having relaxing and healthy holiday in an environment with beautiful Estonian nature.
