Starting in 1998, Leigo Lake Music has grown into an unique cultural event in Estonia, and probably one-of-a-kind in Europe. The festival is unique for the fact that it takes place amongst pure nature on the lands of Leigo farm; the musicians perform on a little island of the lake and the audience is placed on the hillsides, furthermore, there is a special natural firework at night. Amongst other festival sets its emphasis on popularising classical music. In the middle of wild nature, on a lake, floating just above the water is a stage that can carry a whole symphonic orchestra and tons of equipment. Play of live fire in the form of thousands of candle flames and log fires makes this festival even more memorable. Leigo is an exciting and enjoyable experience, not only for our visitors but also for the various artists that the festival has hosted.
