Trofee welcomes you in Central Estonia, on the shore of river Pedja. About two-hour long drive from Tallinn and only 40 minutes from Tartu you'll find a peaceful location with a picturesque landscape. The road to the hunting lodge is without any signs with a purpose to ensure your privacy throughout your stay. The hunting lodge was built in 2008 on a place where an old watermill used to stand, for people who love nature and its spectacles, but also a little comfort and luxury in the middle of a forest. Trofee is owned by a family where hunting has been a lifestyle for centuries and bird watching is their great passion. The treasures of the place are the nearby two nature conservation areas and one landscape protection area. There are amazingly many species of wild birds in the nature conservation areas around Trofee and if you're lucky, you'll meet a wild animal too. Here you can enjoy a place of quiet, surrounded by a scenic landscape in the middle of Estonia. We offer you: • Northern styled simple and lovely rustic hotel, decorated with hunting trophies. There is barely any cell-phone coverage but we do have wireless internet throughout the house. • Cosy, small, but charming rooms with spacious balconies and wonderful views overlooking the forest and the river below. • The sauna complex contains of a classic fire-heated sauna, a steam sauna and a unique natural river pool beneath the sauna. Towels and robes are also available in the sauna. • Venison based Estonian seasonal cuisine with fresh tastes and wine list recommended by sommelier. The menus are available upon request. • Memorable and enjoyable activities- canoeing along the quiet flowing Pedja river experiencing wonders of surrounding nature. Fishing opportunities on Pedja river and several lakes nearby. Exciting guided walking trips and photo hunts through the nature reserves.
