Tour of Lahemaa National Park and Manor Houses
About
A full day (6-hours) bus tour to Lahemaa with English speaking guide (70 km from Tallinn) presents you the beauty of the landscape typical Northern Estonia: coastal lowlands, pine forests, limestone cliff and boulder fields. In Lahemaa, there are several well-restored manors of 18th - 19th century, really great examples of their kind in Estonia. Palmse Manor was built in 18th century and belonged to the family of Barons von Pahlen. The highlights include an antique music box, the dining room, porcelain chandelier and original Turkish couches in the saloon. Sagadi Manor was one of the few mansions in Estonia to be decorated in rococo style. The rooms have been carefully restored and refurnished. Tour starts from Sokos Hotel Viru or from your hotel. On request with 48 business hour prior notice. Tour departs with minimum 2 participants. Tour price includes transportation, guide services and entrance to one manor house. Lunch and/or coffebreak with extra charge.
