You will find the Vara St Birgitta Church in Atte Village. It was built in the stead of the wooden church that burned down in 1855. The first data of the old church data back as far as the year 1627. Interesting facts:- the Vara Oak (circumference 4.2 m, height 24 m) that is considered an ancient sacrificial tree grows in the church garden.
