Kallion Sävel is located in the center of new restaurants in Helsinki, near Hakaniementori, opposite Hakaniemen Kauppahalli. The atmosphere is historical as the building, called Arenatalo, was designed by Lars Snock for apartments and business use. Arenatalo was built in the 1920s and Arena-theater has been operating since 1929! Restaurant Sävel was opened in 2003 and was renovated in 2024 to its current form. Our inspiration has been the history of Hakaniemi Market, as well as, Finnish ingredients and the residential culture of Helsinki citizens. We offer delicious burgers, sandwiches, and classics of Sävel in a cozy atmosphere to relax and enjoy listening to Finnish Iskelmä music. Check the À la carte from the Menu where you can find Tapas of Sävel and Desserts, among the others. Sävel’s lunch provides a rich salad table with delicious main courses from the buffet and plated options. We offer coffee and tea, a selection of craft beers and intriguing wines,
