Puijo Tower stands proudly on the summit of Puijo Hill in the city of Kuopio, Finland, offering visitors a commanding overview of the surrounding forested landscape and the city below. Completed in 1963, the 75‑metre structure is renowned for being the first observation tower in the Nordic countries to feature a revolving restaurant. Today, the restaurant seats 100 guests, turning slowly to provide a continuous 360‑degree view of the pristine Finnish countryside and the sparkling Lake Kallavesi. In addition to its culinary delights, the tower houses a spacious observation deck at the top of the spire, where visitors can step outside and take in the sweeping vistas of the Kadrius Peninsula, the banks of the Kymijoki River, and the distant keystone of the Kuopio Cathedral.
