Log cabin 1998, living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed (140 cm), sauna (electric sauna stove), washroom (sauna and washroom renovated 2014), toilet, veranda. Upstairs: bedroom with double bed, sleeping loft there is possibility to make two extra beds to the sofa, balcony. Obligatory cleaning deposit 150 € payable on arrival. Homely, comfortable log cottage on forest-covered steep slope. Swimming shore has current (running water): this water (Kietävälänvirta) does not freeze over in winter. Cottage is situated high on a rocky outcrop. Steep slope from cottage to the shore with steep stairs. Owner rents out e.g. baby’s cot, baby feeding chair, 5 bicycles, life jackets, two marine aluminium 10 hp Buster boat. Home-baked confectionary to order. Nature trail starts at cottage which is joined to municipal nature trail network. Several trails of varying length. Additionally, owner has a tepee approx. 3 km away, which is a good destination for a walk. In Puumala there is 60 km long bicycle path Saaristoreitti for cyclists. Saimaa seal watching tours from Puumala.
