Our place is situated by the lake Näsijärvi, 70 km to the North-East of city Tampere, 230 km from Helsinki. We provide self-catering cottages and activities all year round - we have a peaceful place for families, anglers, hikers, bird watchers.Haapasaari provides caravan and camping area with showers and laundry services, piers, restaurant and cafe, traditional outdoor dancing floor, plenty of saunas etc. High class cottages (including sauna, toilet, shower, cooker, fridge, microwave, tableware and separated bedroom) are rented throughout the year. During summertime economical camping cottages are rented as well.Rowing-boats, canoes, bicycles, camping equipment, kick sleds and snowshoes are for rent during your stay. Kids appreciate our beach, playing area 'Lighthouse' and our animals like alpacas, donkey, pony and mule. Other activities are numerous: minigolf, excellent jogging and cross-country skiing tracks nearby, hiking opportunities in National Park Helvetinjärvi, just to mention a couple. The amusement park Särkänniemi as well as animal park in Ähtäri are within a reasonable range.
