“By the sea, friendly, fresh and laid-back” At the quay of Kalaranta you will find us along with the most spectacular view in Vaasa. Faros Restaurant is an old lightship that came to Vaasa in 1989 and has ever since worked as a restaurant. After an extensive renovation, the new Faros opened up its doors to a totally renewed and freshened restaurant in May 2013. 2018 we expanded and opened a second restaurant in connection to our terrace. We call it FYR. FYR has high ceilings and a true panoramic view of the sea. We will make sure that you feel comfortable here from April to December. In our bright restaurant you can enjoy the sea view, have a wonderful à la carte dinner or toast to celebrations. On sun deck you can check out the boats passing by while zipping on a chilled glass of rosé. On the sunniest terrace in Vaasa you can listen to live music, quench your thirst or just chill in a sun chair on the beach. Heartily Welcome!
