Atelier Des Lauves
About
Atelier des Lauves, the former studio of Paul Cézanne, commands the hill of Lauves in Aix‑en‑Provence, overlooking the iconic Mont Sainte‑Victoire that inspired many of the artist’s masterpieces. Preserved exactly as Cézanne left it, the studio is furnished with his easels, models, and work‑related objects, offering visitors an intimate glimpse into his daily life. The museum hosts temporary exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year, complemented by a small gift shop selling Cézanne‑themed souvenirs. After a period of renovation, the studio will reopen gradually from 28 June 2025, with continuous updates on the official Cezanne‑en‑Provence website. Individual, group, or company tours can be organized via the dedicated online preparation pages, ensuring a tailored experience for every visitor.
