Located in the heart of the regional national park, the Bastide du Laval Olive Oil Mill provides visitors with a unique opportunity to discover the landscape and traditions of Provence. Set against the cliffs from which the stone for the construction of the original village of Cadenet was quarried, the mill brings a feeling of authenticity. Far more than a simple olive oil mill, Bastide du Laval is keen to develop a friendly and educational approach to the fascinating world of olive trees, olive oil and, of course, Provence. Olive tourism serves as an alternative to traditional tourism, offering indepth knowledge of the olive oil industry and capturing the true essence of the culture surrounding the domain of the olive tree. The olive oils produced at the mill as well as the wines from the domain itself are sold in the boutique, along with a selection of local products.
