Musee De Picardie

Since it first opened back in 1867, the Musée de Picardie has been considered one of the finest French museums outside of Paris. Inspired by Napoleon III’s Louvre design, it is a museum of fine arts and archaeology bringing together rich collections of sculptures, artefacts and paintings, taking visitors on a journey across the world and through time from the Palaeolithic Era to the present day. It has undergone a huge renovation between 2015 and 2020. The reopening took place March 1st 2020.
