A Ferme auberge is a working farm where you can have a meal and a place to stay if you wish. The ethos of a ferme auberge is that up to 80% of the food you eat here is produced organically on our farm. Paula and Mike Cragg serve traditional and affordable French country cooking, seasonally and with love. Vegetarian and special diet requirements are catered for with prior notice. Your meal can be accompanied by a fine range of local wines and beers and soft options are available. The restaurant seats up 50 people in a large converted Charentaise barn; cool in summer, and cozily heated by wood stoves in the winter. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, to appreciate the picturesque views of the farm and surrounding Chavenat valley.
