The Mas des Barres located in Maussane les Alpilles dates from 1654. The reputation of the oil is since being recognized in the region and even beyond: - In 2004, the International Olive Oil Committee awarded it the title of best olive oil in the world. - In 2013, international recognition materialized when Mas des Barres Olive Oil was recognized as the Best Olive Oil in the World in New York. - In 2020, the Mas was taken over by 2 lovers of Provence who decided to wake up the sleeping beauty by relaunching the olive-growing activity and renovating the Mas in order to develop a Provençal restaurant activity. First recognition arrives in 2022 with a Gold Medal at the General Agricultural Competition in Paris and at the Dubai Olive Oil Competition for our AOP extra virgin olive oil.
