A family run business located between the Auvergne Mountains, lakes and the Aveyron dams for a calm and in open air stay. Here's a 100 years old house. Fours generations have run it to make it sucessfully warm and happy. The Hotel des Barrages was indeed created in 1900 by current owner Lynette's great grand father. The Hotel des Barrages also cultivates the sos pecific gastronomics traditions of this Carladez region closed to the nearby Auvergne. All the country specialties are on the menu : Aveyron pork delicatessen, tradition local cheese, Aligot (mashed potatoes with melted cheese), truffade (roast potatoes with melted cheese), pounti (baked herbs stuffing with prunes), stuffed cabbage and local Cantal. To be enjoyed in a 90 seats room and a terrace full of flowers.
