To visit Chanson is to travel back in time and experience the magic of the 1000 year-old traditional winemaking. Chanson still vinifies and cellars its wines in the Bastion as it has for more than 200 years. The 10m thick walls of this ancient fortress make it ideal for winemaking. While the ground floor serve as a vinotheque and vintage wine library, vinification and barrel-aging take place on the second and third floor.
